9/15 Sunday Salon: Fall Foraged Floral Bouquet
9/15 Sunday Salon: Fall Foraged Floral Bouquet
September combines the cumulative magic of summer with the transformative energy of Autumn. Golden flowers bloom in abundance alongside warm-toned foliage, swaying grass plumes, and seed pods rich in textures. All of these elements are the basis for a well-balanced floral bouquet!
Participants will enjoy a guided walk through the enchanting, lush boulevards surrounding Tangletown Gardens to harvest beautiful stems that celebrate their own originality and the spirit of Fall in addition to utilizing our Tangletown Farm grown bounty that may include zinnias, snapdragons, hydrangea, sunflowers, and dahlias (mother-nature providing!).
This workshop will emphasize seasonality and the art of noticing, with an overview of unique ingredients and blooms to look for this time of year, the components of floral design, and guidance for intertwining stems in a spiral, organic fashion in hand. Great practice for a backyard wedding or a beautiful gift for a friend wrapped in paper. Easily pop the bouquet in a vase to enjoy at home!
Leave behind the constraints of a vase and bring home a hand-tied garden-gathered arrangement that mimics the feel and movement of Fall.
Sunday, Sept 15th at 10:00am at Tangletown Gardens - 5353 Nicollet Ave S
Tickets: $69, space is limited - one participant per ticket, please.
Spend the day at 54th and Nicollet! We recommend enjoying brunch at Wise Acre before or after the salon.
