5/5 Sunday Salon: Natural Dye Plants & Process with Petal & Hank

Join us to learn how to dye fabrics with natural plant materials that you may already have growing in your garden! Trinity Muller of Petal & Hank will guide class participants through the hands-on process of dyeing cotton with natural dried botanicals to create a one-of-a-kind patterned bandana that participants will get to take home. During the salon, learn about the dye process from beginning to end, including which plants you can grow and forage to create the most vibrant and long-lasting colors, steps to preparing your fabrics, and how to arrange your botanicals to create artful natural patterns. Trinity will share examples of her beautiful work and help you with tips to create your own masterpieces at home!

Trinity Muller is the natural dyer, owner, and fiber enthusiast behind Petal & Hank. Trinity is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota where winters provide time to spin and knit woolens and summers provide plentiful foraging and gardening opportunities.

Tickets: $49, space is limited - one participant per ticket, please. Beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
